Koshidaka International

Established in 2021 and headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Koshidaka International has emerged to be a prominent player in the entertainment industry. Under the leadership of Mr. Akira Zama, serving as Managing Director, and Mr. Hiroshi Koshidaka, as its Director, our journey has been guided by a fusion of Japanese expertise and local talent, with a workforce comprising both Japanese and Malaysian employees. As a subsidiary of Koshidaka Holdings, the company takes pride in its pivotal role as the regional office for the highly renowned Karaoke Manekineko operations across Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.

1967

Koshidaka Holdings was incorporated as a humble Chinese restaurant in Gunma Prefecture, Japan.

1990

A turning point in our history journey as we opened our first karaoke box, introducing the joy of singing to our customers.

1993

The birth of the ``Manekineko`` brand, becoming synonymous with fun-filled karaoke experiences.

2004

Celebrated a momentous achievement as the number of Karaoke Manekineko stores reached an impressive milestone of 100.

2007

We were proudly listed on the JASDAQ Securities Exchange, marking a new phase of growth and expansion.

2014

Expanded to Singapore

2016

A testament to our success and financial strength, our company's shares were transferred to the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

2018

We made our mark in Singapore and Malaysia, spreading the joy of karaoke to new audiences.

2019

1st outlet in Thailand

2020

1st outlet in Indonesia

2022

To date we have over 600 stores in Japan, 12 stores in Korea, 10 in Malaysia, 2 in Thailand, and 1 in Indonesia.

As of Aug’23, we have over 625 stores in Japan, 4 stores in Korea, 10 in Malaysia, 2 in Thailand, and 1 in Indonesia.

Corporate Structure

Koshidaka Holdings and its subsidiary, Koshidaka International, form a harmonious corporate structure, with Koshidaka International serving as the regional hub, bringing the joy of Karaoke Manekineko operations to South East Asia.

Malaysia

Koshidaka Malaysia, established in 2018 as part of Koshidaka Holdings’ Southeast Asia expansion, rapidly grew its Manekineko brand presence in the Greater Klang Valley, opening a flagship 10th store in 2023, a 3-story shop lot building in Bukit Bintang.

Thailand

Karaoke Manekineko’s two outlets in Bangkok, Thailand (MBK Center and The Street Ratchada), strategically leveraging the vibrant city and presenting a prime opportunity for further expansion and capturing a substantial share of the entertainment market.

Indonesia

The first Karaoke Manekineko outlet in Indonesia, located at The Baywalk Mall, Jakarta Utara, opened on 13 March 2020, offering the familiar vibrant atmosphere, and a unique dinner buffet spread during evenings.
